It is with much pride that the Australian Track and Field Coaches Association announces the recognition given today 18th February 2023 by World Athletics for its contribution to coach education through its publication of “Modern Athlete and Coach”.  The board would like to thank all those contributors to the Coaching Journal over the many years it has been published.  Whilst not physically published now, the coaching journal is still being distributed to ATFCA members.  Recognition for Jess Jarver who was the original editor and journalist for the magazine cannot be understated.  He was an amazing coach and contributor to all coach education in Australia.World Athletics ATFCA AWARD 1
