Victoria new guidelines

REGIONAL VICTORIA:

From 11.59pm on Friday 17th September, there will be some further easing of restrictions in regional Victoria, except for City of Ballarat. Changes in red.

Indoor physical rec: Open with 10 people indoor and 20 outdoor per venue.

Indoor pools: Open. Up to 50 people outdoor and 20 people indoor. Hydrotherapy and swimming lessons may occur. Spas, saunas and steam rooms closed.

Play centres, indoor skateparks, indoor trampolining centres: remain closed.

Outdoor playgrounds, communal gym equipment and skateparks: Open

Outdoor personal training: Allowed with up to 10 people and a trainer

Community sport: Permitted outdoor training only with the minimum number required to train. Spectators are prohibited except one parent permitted to supervise children

Community recreation facilities: Outdoors only with up to 20 people per facility.

Outdoor pools: Open with up to 50 people

 

GREATER MELBOURNE and BALLARAT:

From 11.59pm on Friday 17th September, there will be some further easing of restrictions in Melbourne and the City of Ballarat. Changes in red.

Stay at home except for one of the 6 reasons. The additional reason is:

  • socialize (up to four hours, with one other person plus dependants if they cannot be left unattended. The other person can be from another household). Up to five people may gather from two households may socialize or exercise if everyone over age of 18 have had two vaccination doses.

As regards coaching:

  • Indoor physical recreation & sport: Broadcast permitted with maximum five people (NOTE: I don’t know what this means, please seek advice if it’s relevant to you). Hydrotherapy open for permitted purposes only.

Outdoor physical recreation & sport: CLOSED.

Outdoor skateparks and gym equipment OPEN.

  • Public gatherings:
  • Permitted for personal training for up to two people plus the trainer
  • Exercise (up to four hours, with one other person plus dependants if they cannot be left unattended. The other person can be from another household). Up to five people may gather from two households may socialize or exercise if everyone over age of 18 have had two vaccination doses.
  • Travel limit of 10km from place of primary residence
