Please find here all the latest details relating to life in Victoria.  The ATFCA wishes you all the best in moving forward to freedom. We look forward to seeing you at some upcoming competitions.

REGIONAL VICTORIA:

From 11.59pm on Thursday 21st October, there will be some further easing of restrictions in regional Victoria, except for Mildura.

Indoor physical recreation: Open Fully vaccinated*: DQ4* and 30 cap. Unknown vaccination*: no change from previous (10 people indoor per venue).

Outdoor physical rec: Open Fully vaccinated*: DQ2* and 100 cap. Unknown vaccination*: no change from previous (20 outdoor per venue).

Swimming pools: Fully vaccinated*: Indoors DQ4* and 30 cap, outdoors DQ2* and 150 cap (change rooms closed). Unknown vaccination*: no change from previous (50 people outdoor and 20 people indoor. Hydrotherapy and swimming lessons may occur. Spas, saunas and steam rooms closed).

Play centres, indoor skateparks, indoor trampolining centres: Open Fully vaccinated*: DQ4* and 30 cap. Unknown vaccination*: no change from previous (10 people indoor per venue).

Outdoor playgrounds, outdoor gym equipment and skateparks: Open

Outdoor personal training: Fully vaccinated*: DQ2* and 100 cap. Unknown vaccination*: no change from previous (20 outdoor per venue).

Community sport: indoors and outdoors, training only. Minimum number required for the sport, spectators: public gathering limits apply. Unknown vaccination*: no change from previous

Community recreation facilities: see physical recreation, above.

Public gatherings: 20 people can gather outdoors, including dependents

Travel limit: distance limit removed, but movement between regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne will only be allowed for permitted reasons

Masks will still be required both indoors and outdoors for all Victorians.

 

GREATER MELBOURNE and RURAL CITY OF MILDURA:

From 11.59pm on Thursday 21st October, there will be some further easing of restrictions in Melbourne and Mildura.

Can leave home for any reason, and the curfew is removed.

As regards coaching:

  • Indoor physical recreation & sport: Broadcast permitted with maximum five people (NOTE: I don’t know what this means, please seek advice if it’s relevant to you). Hydrotherapy open for permitted purposes only.

Outdoor recreation facilities: Fully vaccinated*: Outdoor only, DQ4*, 50 cap. Unknown vaccination*: unchanged – Outdoor personal training up to two people plus the trainer.

Outdoor skateparks and gym equipment OPEN.

Outdoor personal training: Fully vaccinated*: Outdoor only, DQ4*, 50 cap. Unknown vaccination*: unchanged – Outdoor personal training up to two people plus the trainer.

Community sport: outdoor only, training only (no competition). Minimum number required for the sport, spectators: public gathering limits apply. Changing rooms closed.

Public gatherings:

  • Fully vaccinated* up to 15 people outdoors
  • Unknown vaccination status*: up to 5 people outdoors

Swimming pools: Fully vaccinated*: Outdoors only DQ4* and 50 cap (change rooms closed). Indoor pools, saunas, steam rooms closed, exceptions for hydrotherapy for essential medical care. Unknown vaccination*: no change from previous (closed).

Travel limit: distance limit removed, but movement between regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne will only be allowed for permitted reasons

*Explanations: DQ4 means a density quotient of 1 person per 4 square metres, DQ2 is 1 per 2 sq m. Under 12s, and people with a legal exemption, are counted as double vaccinated.
